What are Hangouts?
Hangouts are simple, member-led opportunities at Word of Grace for people to build real friendships around shared interests. They aren’t Bible Studies or Community Groups – they’re casual environments designed to help people meet others, have fun, and form the kinds of relationships that make discipleship possible. There are two types of Hangouts: One-Time Hangouts, like a cooking class, movie night, or game-day watching party; and Ongoing Hangouts, like pickup basketball, board-game nights, or crocheting in the youth room. Hangouts let our church family use the facilities and gifts God has given them to cultivate meaningful, life-giving connections. And while many Hangouts happen in our church spaces, they can also take place off-site – anywhere our people naturally gather and build community.
